Day 1
Check into the hotel at any time after 4 p.m.
2-6 p.m.: Visit the welcome table in the hotel lobby.
7 p.m.: Welcome reception with a complimentary drink* at the hotel (1 voucher per person).
The rest of the evening at your leisure.
Day 2
10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.: Downtown Southern Food Walk; includes 15 tastings at 7 restaurants, a passionate local guide and 1-way transportation to the venue, plus taxes and gratuities. See Additional Information for tour details and restrictions.
• 10:30 a.m.: Meet your guide in the hotel lobby and transfer to the venue at the start of the tour.
• 11 a.m.: Set off on foot to discover Atlanta’s incredible food scene.
• Visit Paschal’s soul food restaurant for samples of fried chicken, candied yams and cheesy grits, plus a specialty vodka cocktail (for guests ages 21 years and older).
• At Arden’s Garden, enjoy some pineapple-apple-ginger juice, Yoga 1 juice (a blend of fruit, vegetables and ginger) and Cheezy Kale crispy snacks.
• Continue to Panbury’s™ and sample wee bites of steak-and-stout handheld pie.
• Stop at Just Add Honey Tea Company and sip Georgia Peaches tea.
• Visit Huskers Cafe for a taste of shrimp and grits.
• Visit Metro Deli & Soul Food and sample hoecakes (pancake-shaped unleavened cornbread), beans and banana pudding.
• At Miss D’s, enjoy bites of New Orleans-style pecan praline and her signature triple popcorn.
• 2:30 p.m.: Walk back to the hotel (about 15 minutes away on foot).

Day 3
12:30-3:30 p.m.: King Historic District Tour; includes admission fees, an expert guide and round-trip transportation via Atlanta Streetcar, plus taxes and gratuities. See Additional Information for details and restrictions.
• 12:30 p.m.: Meet your guide in the hotel lobby and head to the nearby transit stop.
• Board Atlanta Streetcar and transfer to Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park.
• 1 p.m.: Arrive and head off on foot, visiting important locations — including Dr. King’s Birth Home (exterior view only) as well as his elementary school — and landmarks like Ebenezer Baptist Church.
• As you stroll, you’ll also have a chance to marvel at the view from Jackson Street Bridge.
• Other stops along the way include Prince Hall Grand Lodge, the beauty salon of businesswoman and philanthropist Madam CJ Walker, and Dobbs Plaza, dedicated to civic leader John Wesley Dobbs.
• As well, at The King Center, see the tomb of Dr. and Mrs. King, along with other memorials, art and relics.
• 3:30 p.m.: Transfer back to the hotel via Atlanta Streetcar.

Check out of the hotel by 11 a.m.
